Veterinarian

We're also building a second evening team, led by a veterinarian (solo or as a duo with their AHT), in a clinic already full.
At Hôpital Vétérinaire Métro Iberville, you practise complete medicine, with autonomy, in a stable team that has the time to do things well. Consultations, routine surgery, anaesthesia and emergencies: your judgment matters at every decision, and every animal is cared for without judging the family's means.
A day in the role
- Run consultations: full physical exams, differential diagnoses and tailored care plans.
- Handle routine surgery independently (spays and neuters, skin-mass removals, dental extractions).
- Manage anaesthesia and emergencies, with multi-parameter monitoring.
- Interpret your diagnostics on site: in-house IDEXX lab and digital imaging.
- Keep the medical record (SOAP) and required logs, per the OMVQ and Quebec's Law 25.
- Mentor junior staff and help shape the clinic's protocols.
What we're looking for
- A licence to practise from the OMVQ, current or in progress.
- Autonomy in medicine and routine surgery, and the reflex to refer complex cases.
- A commitment to preventive medicine and clear communication with families.
- A team mindset and the desire to mentor.
- French to serve our clients well; functional English is an asset.
