The vaccination booklet if you have it, or simply the name of your previous clinic when you book: the record transfers on request.
A list of what they currently eat and take: food, medications, supplements. Exact names help, and a photo of the labels works perfectly.
Don’t fast your pet on your own initiative. If a blood test or procedure requires it, we’ll tell you clearly when you book.
Cat: in a carrier, ideally left out at home a few days ahead, with a towel at the bottom. Dog: on a leash, even the best-behaved one.
Step 3 · At the clinic
Your first consultation lasts about 45 minutes: longer than a standard visit, and that’s deliberate.
Getting to know each other shouldn’t be rushed. A young animal, a new owner, a senior patient: there are more questions, more habits to understand, more prevention to explain. That time is set aside for education as much as for the exam.
Once the file is well established, a regular consultation covers the exam, your questions and the plan going forward.
You stay with your pet during the exam: we encourage it, your presence reassures them.
Good to know
To confirm your appointment, we ask for a reservation fee: $45 for a consultation, $100 for any service under anesthesia. You can cancel at no charge until closing time on the previous business day: just let us know.
Why? Every booked spot abandoned at the last minute is a spot a sick animal didn’t get. The fee keeps our schedule open for those who need it.
The full policy is shown when you book, right in the appointment form.

Your questions
Call us as soon as you know, we adjust. If the delay is too big to examine your pet properly, we simply reschedule together.
Yes, gladly. Mention it when you book: each animal needs its own exam time, so we plan the slot accordingly.
Call us at 514 223-1197 as early as you can (for a daytime emergency, press 0). We do our best to find a spot during business hours. Outside our hours, our emergency page points you to 24-hour centres.
Tell us when you book and we plan around it. For a cat: bring the carrier out a few days ahead, add a towel that smells like home, and keep it covered during the ride. For a dog: a walk before the visit and their favourite treats. And you stay with them during the exam: your presence reassures them.
Absolutely. Consultations are conducted mainly in French, and the rest of our team is bilingual: whatever language you’re comfortable in, we make sure everything is clear, from questions and instructions to estimates and follow-ups.
Book online in a few minutes: your spot is waiting, no waiting list.
