Careers · A rare opportunity

A veterinarian, solo or as a duo with their AHT

Lead an evening shift, in a team built for excellence.

We're not opening hours to fill. We're building a second tight-knit team, equipped to do things well: clear protocols, ongoing training, a smooth practice that respects everyone's time. The demand is real and constant, but it's earned every day, through attentive care from the whole team.

How we work

Our strength isn't individual talent, it's cohesion. A tight team that follows the same protocols and holds itself accountable practises better medicine than a group of soloists. We mean it, and we're explicit about it.

  • Same protocols, for everyone.Consistency protects patients and makes the medicine reliable. We shape the protocols together, then we follow them.
  • Everyone carries their share. We back each other up; nobody leaves colleagues to pick up the slack.
  • Cases are handed over cleanly.Clear communication and records kept, from one team to the next.
  • We get better, together.Training and protocols evolve, and we expect everyone to contribute.

We know who thrives here: rigorous, reliable, a team player who takes pride in doing it right.

How it works

  • Two teams, one clinic.

The day team moves to 7am-3pm; you lead the 12pm-8pm shift.

  • The noon-to-3 window.

Our most productive stretch: while one team operates, the other consults. It's also when we meet and hand over cases.

  • A complete setup.

Two consult rooms, a surgical suite, in-house IDEXX lab and digital imaging.

  • A team already started.

Evening reception and assistant in place, and an AHT ready to join you.

Come as a pair

Already have an AHT you love working with? Come as a duo: we welcome tandems that already know each other. Otherwise, one of our AHTs is ready to team up with you.

The deal

The independence of a shift to lead. A base salary of $80,000 to $150,000 depending on experience, plus a model where the team shares the growth it builds: when your shift performs, everyone benefits. We discuss the details in person.

Who we're looking for

  • Above all: rigour, reliability and a genuine team spirit.
  • A licence to practise from the OMVQ, in good standing.
  • The drive to lead a shift and raise the bar, not to work in a vacuum.
  • The reflex to refer complex cases within your skill set.
  • Solo, or as a duo with your AHT.

A clinic that invests in its people

An established, growing practice where preventive medicine and quality come before volume. Our internal platform (protocols, training, clinical tools) moves the whole team forward, and both teams shape it together.

We want to meet you.

Whether you're ready to apply or want to talk first, email or call us. We take the time.
